We like films. We like to watch them. We also like to talk about them. Especially if we don’t think they are getting the attention – good or bad – they deserve.

We’d also like to think that other people are that way inclined too.

Here at SYM, we’re always on the lookout for people passionate about films that others may not have seen. Maybe you’re the person who, on finding someone likes Drive, demands that they go and seek out Nicolas Winding Refn’s Pusher trilogy? Perhaps you have a love of 1950s cinema that knows no bounds? Or maybe you just love the straight-to-DVD sequels of Beverley Hills Chihuahua and think others should give them a shot?

If this sounds right up your street, then send an email to sodyourmultiplex@yahoo.com telling us which films, mainly neglected by the movie-going public and press, you think need more love…or indeed, hate. If it sounds like something that fits our remit, we’ll happily seek it out to review or, even better, let you send in your own review.

Don’t worry too much about spelling/grammar and that jazz – we can sort that out in the editing process. It’s the ideas that matter, and that’s where you come in.

While we can’t offer cash readies in return – this is a blog run for leisure at the moment – we can credit you for reviews and link to your own blog/twitter if you wish.

So, if you’ve always wanted a platform to swoon about your favourite forgotten gem of a film, now’s your time. Get involved.
